TMU hosts masterclass on labour law, vacations and practical disputes

Tashkent Metropolitan University hosted a masterclass titled "Labour Law: Vacations, Their Types and Practical Disputes" on Monday, October 12.

The session was led by Khumoyun Soyipov, a lawyer, advocate and labour law expert at the "Yurist and Kadr" NGO. It was aimed at students and focused on how labour law works in practice.

According to the organizers, the programme covered the types of leave provided under labour law, employees' rights and obligations regarding vacations, and the legal regulation of leave and the practical issues that arise in applying it. It also included real-life labour disputes with case examples, followed by a question-and-answer session.

The masterclass was designed to give students practical knowledge of vacation rights and the ways such disputes are handled, beyond the theory of labour.
