BMBA 60+? Skip the Entrance Exam — Here's Your Fast Track Into Tashkent Metropolitan University
If you've taken the BMBA test and scored 60 or higher, you may already qualify for admission to Tashkent Metropolitan University without sitting an entrance exam. Here's how the track works, and how to make the most of it.
What is BMBA?
BMBA stands for Bilim va malakalarni baholash agentligi — the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, the state body responsible for administering entrance exams for Uzbekistan's public universities. A BMBA score is a standardized, government-recognized measure of academic readiness, which is exactly why TMU can rely on it to waive its own entrance exam for high scorers.
What is the BMBA 60+ track?
TMU accepts applicants with a BMBA score of 60 or above directly, skipping the standard entrance exam process. This applies across TMU's full range of undergraduate programs, including Law, Computer Engineering, Accounting & Finance, Management, Marketing, International Business, Economics, English Philology, and Preschool/Primary Education.
What if you also have an IELTS score?
Applicants who hold an IELTS certificate of 6.0 or higher receive a 100% grant covering their first semester's tuition. Given that TMU's programs are taught entirely in English, a strong IELTS score is a genuine signal of readiness — and TMU rewards it accordingly.
How many seats are available?
Each program has 100 seats available under this track for the current admissions cycle. Grants scale from 25% to 100% depending on your scores, so it's worth applying even if you don't hit every top threshold.

Should you apply through this track or the standard route?
If you already have a BMBA score of 60+, this is almost always the faster and more cost-effective path — you avoid the entrance exam entirely and start the grant conversation immediately. If your BMBA score is below 60 but your English is strong, it's still worth talking to admissions, since the standard entrance-exam route with a good IELTS score also carries discount eligibility.
