Tashkent Metropolitan University (TMU) is currently engaged in discussions with Lancaster University in Great Britain to establish a partnership aimed at fostering academic cooperation and exchange.
High-level representatives from Tashkent Metropolitan University, including Founder and President Bekhzod Djalilov, along with founders Abduvali Abdumavlanov and Samariddin Shamsiev, recently held productive talks with Professor Marwan Izzeldin, Associate Dean (International) of Lancaster University, via online conference calls.
The discussions focused on exploring various aspects of collaboration between the two educational institutions, with a particular emphasis on academic affairs, student exchanges, and faculty collaboration. Both universities expressed their commitment to establishing fruitful partnerships that would benefit their respective student bodies and contribute to the advancement of higher education.
During the talks, the possibilities of launching 2+2 programs, facilitating student exchange initiatives, organizing summer schools for students, and inviting professors from Lancaster University to deliver lectures at TMU were thoroughly examined. The sides also agreed to explore possibility of launching 2+1 and 3+0 programs in the future.
These initiatives aim to provide TMU students with enriched educational experiences, broaden their global perspectives, and foster academic excellence through interactions with renowned faculty members from Lancaster University.
