Tashkent Metropolitan University (TMU) is giving YOU the chance to experience it firsthand! 🚀 The Study in the USA Challenge: TMU – San Francisco is your opportunity to win a 4-week fully funded language training at the prestigious San Francisco English Language Institute.

Who Can Apply?
High School Seniors
This challenge is open to 11th-grade students who will complete their schooling by May 2025, ensuring they are ready to begin their higher education journey.
English Proficiency Requirement
Applicants must demonstrate their English language skills with a minimum B1 level (CEFR) or an IELTS band of 5.0. TOEFL and Duolingo equivalents are also accepted.
First-Time Visitors to the USA
This opportunity is exclusively for students who have never traveled to the United States before, making it a truly life-changing experience.
Enrollment at TMU for 2025/26
To participate, students must be accepted into one of TMU’s undergraduate programs for the 2025/26 academic year. Explore available programs at www.tmuni.org.

The educational competition “Study in the USA Challenge: TMU – San Francisco” will consist of three main stages.
Participation Requirements
Create Your Video
Prepare a creative video (1-2 minutes) in English on the topic: “Why do I choose TMU?” Be authentic and passionate, as this is your chance to show why TMU is the perfect place for you!
Post on Instagram
Share your video on your public Instagram account, and make sure to tag @tmuniuz in the post.
Tag Your Friends
Tag at least 5 friends in the comments of the official TMU competition post. The more engagement, the better!

After uploading your video and tagging TMU, submit the online application via this Google Form.
Advance to Stage 2
The top 50 candidates whose videos receive the highest number of views will be selected for Stage 2. Be sure your content stays relevant—videos that are off-topic will be disqualified, regardless of view count.

The 15 best essays (evaluated on content, clarity, language, and creative writing) will advance to Stage 3.
This is your chance to showcase your vision and dedication to making a difference in the world! 🌍
